Role Overview
We're seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join CODVO.AI's Engineering team and help scale our infrastructure as we grow. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that enable our teams to ship code reliably and efficiently. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality AI-powered solutions to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency for production environments
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI to automate testing, building, and deployment processes
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to enable reproducible and version-controlled infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog) and establish alerting strategies to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on deployment best practices and architectural decisions
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster configuration, scaling, and security hardening
- Implement security best practices including access control, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring across infrastructure
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with at least one CI/CD tool
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Familiarity with machine learning infrastructure or AI/ML deployment pipelines
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source DevOps projects
- Experience with infrastructure security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
