Role Overview

We're seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join CODVO.AI's Engineering team and help scale our infrastructure as we grow. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that enable our teams to ship code reliably and efficiently. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality AI-powered solutions to our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across development, staging, and production environments
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI to automate testing, building, and deployment processes
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes, managing deployments, scaling, and updates in production environments
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to version control and automate infrastructure provisioning
  • Monitor system performance and reliability by setting up observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog) and establishing alerting mechanisms for proactive issue detection
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating with engineering teams to diagnose problems and implement sustainable solutions
  • Enhance security posture by implementing best practices for access control, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance across infrastructure
  • Document processes and mentor team members on DevOps practices, tools, and infrastructure architecture to foster knowledge sharing and team growth

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD tools and pipeline development
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes clearly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
  • Knowledge of Python, Go, or other programming languages for automation
  • Experience with database administration and backup/recovery strategies
  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or GPU-accelerated computing environments
  • Experience with GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD or Flux

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with equity options for full-time employees
  • Flexible work arrangements with remote-first culture and optional office access
  • Professional development budget for certifications, courses, and conference attendance
  • Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
  • Collaborative environment with talented engineers and a commitment to knowledge sharing
  • Impact-driven work contributing to cutting-edge AI solutions that matter
  • Career growth opportunities with clear paths for advancement and skill development
