Role Overview
We're seeking a talented Front-End Engineer to join CODVO.AI's Engineering team and help build intuitive, responsive user interfaces that power our innovative AI-driven solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your work will directly impact how thousands of users interact with cutting-edge technology.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) that work flawlessly across devices and browsers
- Develop mobile-first interfaces with a focus on performance optimization and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance)
- Translate design mockups into pixel-perfect implementations by collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and maintaining design system consistency
- Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, lazy loading, and efficient state management
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, Vitest, or similar testing frameworks
- Implement responsive design patterns and ensure cross-browser compatibility while maintaining code quality standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend architecture and best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues in production environments and implement timely solutions
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Experience with mobile development (React Native, Flutter, or native mobile frameworks)
- Demonstrated ability to translate UI/UX designs into functional code
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript or other typed JavaScript variants
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Pinia)
- Knowledge of CSS-in-JS solutions or utility-first CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS)
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) for developer-designer collaboration
- Contributions to open-source projects or a public portfolio demonstrating your work
- Experience with progressive web apps (PWAs) or offline-first applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
- Background in UI/UX design principles or human-computer interaction
